Guru Nanak Publich Senior Secondary School welcomes students for a joyful and enriching learning experience. Our admission process is completely transparent and specifically designed to suit the expectations of parents/guardians and children. The admission procedure is stated below.
- Nsy to 1st Standard Group :- Admission will only be granted to candidates, who fulfill the age criteria as on 31st March. You will have to submit an attested Photostat copy of the Municipal Corporation Birth Certificate.
- (a) 2nd to 10th Standard :- Candidates seeking admission in these classes will have to submit their birth certificates showing their date of birth.
(b) Students coming from any Government/Recognised/Affiliated school, will only be eligible, if they can furnish their school leaving certificate from the school that they have last attended.
- 10+1 and 10+2 Standard : – The application should be filled out by the applicant in his/her own handwriting. The application need to be submitted, along with original and attested copies given below:
(a) Municipal Corporation Birth Certificate.
(b) Photocopy of the 10th standard result, which is showing the result, as well as, the date of birth and attested by a gazetted officer.
(c) A certificate of good conduct from the head of the last attended institution, which should show the date of birth.
(d) Certificate of the 8th or 10th standard.
(e) School leaving certificate, if the applicant was attending any government/recognised/affiliated school.
(f) Board Registration Card.
(g) CBSE and other state/board’s students will have to submit countersigned S.L.C from their respective boards and also submit migration certificate, where applicable.
(h) Submit two latest passport sized photographs.
(i) Students, who have passed 8th and 10th standard privately, will be eligible for admission to the next classes, if they can submit:
(1) a photostat copy of the result, attested by a gazetted officer.
(2) Detailed marks card.
We do not entertain incomplete application form. The school reserves the right to reject admission of any applicant or disallow the combination of subjects, without providing any explanation or reason. However, we do not ignore merit, in any case.
6th TO 10th STD. : English, Punjabi, Hindi, Maths., Science, S.Studies, Drawing, Phy-Eduction, Home Science, S.U.P.W., Music, Computer Science.
